Curlin Stops Energy Loss at Your Loading Dock!

Tampa, FL – Revolutionary ENERGY GUARD™ stops energy loss at your loading dock.  Since 1940 Curlin has been a reliable integrator of material handling systems and solutions. The company is now offering  the revolutionary ENERGY GUARD™ Retrofit Kit by Serco®.

Conventional weather and brush seals only seal when the leveler is stored, leaving openings between the dock leveler and the concrete pit walls when the leveler is raised and in use.  ENERGY Guard™ provides a superior perimeter seal by using a series of triangular shaped seal assemblies combined with a 2-ply rear hinge seal to restrict air flow. The triangular shape ensures longer product life by allowing the seals to pivot with the motion of the dock leveler.  This seal assembly is also designed to eliminate the transfer of heat energy in and out of the facility.

Vice President Jeremy Chapman of Curlin said, “The same superior seal that is factory installed can be retrofitted to existing Serco®, Kelly and other select brand dock levelers”.

The Patent pending Retrofit Kits fit common dock leveler widths from six, six and a half and  7 feet and common dock leveler lengths of six, eight and ten feet.  The patent pending design uses a rear hinge seal, fabricated from  durable 2-ply material, die cut to fit around the rear hinges of the dock leveler. This retrofit allows unrestricted access to the pit for cleaning and dock leveler inspection.

Curlin represents the leading manufacturers of material handling solutions, including: Hytrol Conveyors, Serco Loading Dock Equipment, TKO Dock Doors, Wildeck Mezzanines and Material Lifts, Albany Assa Abloy Productivity Doors, Wayne Dalton Commercial Door Systems Lista Cabinets and Benches, Spacesaver Industrial Mobilized Storage Systems and various manufacturers of rack, shelving, ergonomic workstations and general material handling equipment.
