3 Volt 2-18 GHz Broadrange Distributed Amplifier(TM) in 4x4 mm QFN Package



Chelmsford, MA – Custom MMIC, a leading developer of performance driven monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs), has added a new amplifier to its Broadrange Distributed AmplifierTM portfolio, the CMD233C4. The 2-18 GHz distributed amplifier is a packaged version of the CMD233 die product.



The CMD233C4 is a wideband GaAs MMIC distributed amplifier with a low noise figure of 4.5 dB and output 1 dB compression point of +20.5 dBm. This amplifier delivers over 9 dB of gain and operates from a single 3 to 6 volt supply.



The CMD233C4 is a replacement for the CMM4000, now in packaged form. The product is a 50 ohm matched design which eliminates the need for external DC blocks and RF port matching. Applications for the CMD233C4 include military, space and communication systems.
