It mixes emulsions and suspensions, such as sauces, fruit juices, marmalades, lotions, creams, and adhesives.

Wilmington, NC - The IKA ULTRA TURRAX UTL 2000 is a single stage dispersing machine that offers food, personal care and chemical processors a high degree of flexibility and scalability, thanks to its exclusive modular design.
A wide variety of generators from coarse to superfine make the ULTRA TURRAX adaptable to the user’s specific needs. Options are also available on the motor, base, materials of construction and more, adding even greater flexibility.
The ULTRA TURRAX is perfect for mixing emulsions and suspensions requiring a coarse to medium particle size with a narrow distribution. Sauces, fruit juices, marmalades, sugar solutions, stabilizers, lotions, creams, ointments and adhesives represent only a few ideal applications.
Scalability is assured by IKA’s unique rotor/stator design, which maintains a constant tip speed in all sizes, from pilot to full production. The ULTRA TURRAX is available in seven inlet/outlet sizes, extending from 1”/.75” to 8”/6”, with motors ranging from two to 150 horsepower. ULTRA TURRAX units are also CIP capable and self-draining.
