LIGATT Security International Introduces Locked Up: A Full Disk Encryption Program
World Renowned Cyber Security Expert, Gregory Evans, Unveils Computer Hard Drive Protection Software
ATLANTA, GA, Sept. 30 / / - LIGATT Security International CEO, Gregory Evans, announced LIGATT'S most recent development, Locked Up. Locked Up is an encryption tool that acts like a vault for a computer, storing data safely and securely. Using full disk encryption, Locked Up prevents all unauthorized access to the contents of a computer's hard drive. Locked Up is activated by an easy-to-use USB system which provides a safe, simple and secure way to access your computer. Locked Up will be available Thursday, October 1, 2009 at www.ligattsecurity.com,
Full disk encryption is the process of changing data into a form that can be read only by the intended receiver. All consumers will be given their own personal encryption key which is unique and different from all other USB keys; no one consumer will have the exact same encryption key.
Locked Up features Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), an encryption standard adopted by the U.S. government. AES is relatively easy to implement and requires minimal memory space. Locked Up will not slow down a computer or interfere with other programs already installed.
"Many times, when traveling, consumer's computers will come up missing, either misplaced or stolen. With Locked Up, everything on your hard drive is encrypted, allowing for no one else to access your information. It is important to remember that although the monetary value of a computer has decreased over the years, the data on the computer is priceless. Consumers who utilize Locked Up need to keep their USB key separate from their laptop bag in order to insure complete safety. Adding this program to LIGATT Security's established line of products strengthens us in the computer security and cyber crime protection industry," says Evans.
