Providing 3 spool positions and 4 connections, direct-operated hydraulic SEC Series facilitates switching of safety applications. Valve features max operating pressure of 420 bar and volume flow of 20 l/min. Using current feed of both solenoids, user can switch into H position for safe set-up mode in machine tools, plastics processing, die-casting machines, and presses. Concealed auxiliary operation allows for switching of valve without solenoid excitation.

Rexroth Directional Poppet Valve SEC with H Position - Guaranteed Safe Switching
The valve that has been optimized by Rexroth with regard to its leakage behavior using most modern simulation methods provides for increased energy efficiency and thus reduces the required cooler performance.
With the new direct operated hydraulic directional poppet valve with solenoid operation of the SEC series, Rexroth simplifies the switching of safety applications. With the current feed of both solenoids, the user is able to switch into an H position for the safe set-up mode, especially in machine tools, plastics processing and die-casting machines as well as presses, and to thus increase the actually useable machine availability. It is thus also suitable for reliable pressure and load holding functions.
Rexroth's 4/3 SEC valve classified according to DIN EN ISO 13849, category 1, guarantees safe switching also in case of longer standstill times under pressure and has proven a service life of at least 10 million switching cycles. Due to the seat valve design, it doesn't need a check valve and saves sandwich plates that have until now been necessary in case optional plug-in valves are used. The construction that has been optimized by Rexroth developers with regard to its leakage behavior using most modern simulation methods provides for increased energy efficiency and thus reduces the required cooler performance. Thus, design engineers can also use machine and system accumulators and units with smaller dimensions.
The SEC valve size 6 offers three spool positions and four connections. The maximum operating pressure is 420 bar with a volume flow of 20 l/min. The removable solenoid coils can be rotated by 90 degrees and dispose of electrical individual connections. The concealed auxiliary operation allows for the switching of the valve without solenoid excitation.
