May 21, 2004 - Dip cell combines with company's Zetasizer Nano three-in-one system for particle size, zeta potential, and molecular weight measurement of molecules and nano-sized particles. Dip cell extends range of sample types that can be included for zeta potential measurement. PALS technology provides accurate results, and size measurements can be performed in same cell without changing sample. Dip cell also suits use with samples in aqueous media, in glass, or disposable polystyrene cuvettes.

New Dip Cell for Malvern’s Zetasizer Nano

Malvern Instruments has introduced a new dip cell for the Zetasizer Nano, the company’s pioneering three-in-one system for particle size, zeta potential and molecular weight measurement of molecules and nano-sized particles.

The new dip cell extends the range of sample types that can be included for zeta potential measurement, enabling analysis of materials in non-aqueous dispersants.

The dip cell simply clicks into place for immediate use. PALS technology is used to ensure accurate results, and size measurements can be performed in the same cell without changing the sample.

The cell’s excellent chemical compatibility means that it can accommodate a wide variety of dispersants. It is also suitable for use with samples in aqueous media in either glass or disposable polystyrene cuvettes and requires as little as 0.7 ml sample.
