June 7, 2010 - Manufactured using 4 mil polyethylene film, IcePak Brick phases at 0°C and maintains shape even after frozen. Each brick is vacuum-sealed to ensure consistent dimensional tolerance. Commonly used in conjunction with Cryo-Gel(TM) gel packs, products are available in custom sizes designed to match the specific dimensional requirements for application. They may also be used with Tempak(TM) EPS and polyurethane insulated shipping containers.

Cryopak Releases the IcePak Brick, Offering Superior Thermal Performance


EDISON, NJ -- www.cryopak.com - Cryopak, leader in temperature controlled products has released the IcePak Brick as an addition to their line of gel packs and phase change materials.

"The IcePak Brick's phase at 0°C and offer the superior thermal performance of gel packs, yet maintain their shape even after they are frozen," Anthony Alleva, Technical Services Manager, said.

"Their stable shape is an advantage to other gel packs that might lose shape upon unfreezing."

Cryopak's IcePak Bricks are manufactured using durable 4 mil polyethylene film. Each brick is vacuum sealed to insure a consistent dimensional tolerance. Used with Tempak(TM) EPS and polyurethane insulated shipping containers.

The IcePak Bricks are available in custom sizes designed to match the specific dimensional requirements for the application. They are commonly used in conjunction with Cryo-Gel(TM) gel packs.
