Alliance/Rice Lake CubiScan(TM) Dimensioning System automatically measures, weighs, calculates, and records dimensional weight of boxes, allowing shippers and carriers to manifest freight based on volume and weight and apply correct and optimal shipping charges. Measurement ranges offered are 3 x 48 in. L, 2.4 x 40 in. W, and 2.4 x 40 in. H, and 150 lb weight. Utilizing ultrasonic sensor and load cell, product can be configured for stand-alone or in-line operation.

A new dimensional weighing system that automatically measures, weighs, calculates, and records the dimensional weight of boxes to assure proper shipping charges and optimize warehouse or retail space requirements is being introduced by Alliance Scale, Inc. of Canton, Massachusetts.
The Alliance/Rice Lake CubiScan(TM) Dimensioning System is legal-for-trade and allows shippers and carriers to manifest freight based on volume and weight and apply the correct and optimal shipping charges. Utilizing an ultrasonic sensor and load cell, it can be configured for stand-alone or in-line operation and interfaces directly to most warehouse management software.
Providing a measurement range of 3" x 48"L, 2.4" x 40"W, and 2.4" x 40"H, and 150 lbs. weight, the Alliance/Rice Lake CubiScan(TM) Dimensioning System provides instant results without damaging the package and can interface directly to laptop, PC, and mainframe host devices. Outputs are metric or imperial and a visual readout displays dimensions, weights, and other data.
