It features loop circuit time lag testing, signaling state display, and sound monitoring, and user can conduct test while browsing previous records. Device stores up to 9 test settings and 20 groups of test results in on-board memory.

Toronto, Canada - GAO Instruments (www.GAOInstruments.com ) has rolled outitsportable digital transmission analyzer , which is specially designed to measure error rates of data communication and analyze line faults and their causes. The analyzer is a good fit for routine maintenance of 2M systems and N×64K communication channels. It is commonly deployed to test digital channels with 2Mbit/s interfaces, equi-directional 64kbit/s interfaces, or other interfaces such as V.24/V.28/RS232, V.35, V.36, RS449, X.21, RS485, EIA530, EIA530A.
This digital transmission analyzer, model A0300005, boasts many functions such as loop circuit time lag testing, signaling state display and sound monitoring. This analyzer supports multi-task operation and thus can conduct a test while browsing previous records. It stores as many as nine test settings and twenty groups of test results and keeps them in on-board memory even in an event of power failure; the test results can be transmitted to a computer for storage, analysis and printing. A large screen is equipped for clear display of test results. The embedded software is upgradable on line.
