February 28, 2005 - Able to measure true rms voltage, current, watts, VAR's, energy, power factor, and frequency, CRD51XX series Data Stream digital transducers are available in 3 model styles: CRD5110, single-phase; CRD5150, 3-phase 3-wire; and CRD5170, 3-phase 4-wire. Devices allow multiple data points to be obtained from single device; up to 35 devices can be connected on one RS-485 bus with different addresses. Window openings accommodate wires up to 0.25 in. dia.

New CRD51xx Series of 'Data Stream' Digital Transducers Introduced by CR Magnetics, Inc.

CR Magnetics, Inc. has introduced a new series of electrical properties digital transducers, specifically designed to measure true RMS voltage, current, watts, VAR's, energy, power factor and frequency ... Termed "Data Stream".

The new CR Magnetics CRD51XX series "Data Stream" Digital Transducers are available in three different model styles: #CRD5110 - 1 Phase, #CRD5150 - 3 Phase 3 wire and #CRD5170 - 3 Phase 4 wire.

Major benefits of the new "Data Stream" digital transducers allow multiple data points to be obtained from a single device, with up to thirty-five devices able to be connected on a single RS-485 bus with different addresses.

Key features of the new CR Magnetics CRD51XX series Digital Transducers include RS-485 output that complies with EIA standards, and supports ASCII or Modbus protocols. A red LED indicates device status and a green LED indicates communication activity. They can be mounted on 35 mm DIN rails or surface/panels and have a built-in energy totalizer.

The window openings of the new CR Magnetics CRD51XX Series of "Data Stream" Digital Transducers will accommodate current carrying wires up to 0.25" dia. They operate from a 24 Volt DC supply and the operating temperature range is 0 - 50 degrees C. Accuracy is +/- 0.5% Full Scale.
