Greenheck Offers Digital Temperature Interlock for Kitchen Hoods

Greenheck's new digital temperature interlock is designed to automatically start the kitchen hood exhaust fans and keep them running while heat is being generated from the cooking appliances. Acting as a back-up to a manual control, the interlock will override the switch and start the fans once heat is detected ensuring safety in the event an operator fails to manually turn on the fans. The digital temperature interlock enables quick and accurate temperature adjustment via a digital controller with an LED display that can be remote mounted, allowing easy access and accurate control when making seasonal adjustments to the temperature setting. Greenheck's digital temperature interlock complies with International Mechanical Code (IMC) 2009 section 507.2.1.1 that requires interlock between exhaust fans and cooking equipment.

Greenheck is the worldwide leader in manufacturing and distributing air movement and control equipment.
