IBASE Launches Its Intel-based Digital Signage Platforms
Taipei, Taiwan, March 26, 2009 - IBASE Technology (TASDAQ: 8050), a leader provider of industrial computers and embedded systems, expands its system offerings with the SI-96 digital signage system. SI-96 is compact and of low profile that can be easily integrated in different flat panel displays.
The SI-96 system provides outstanding performance over other solutions with superb graphics required for signage applications such as multimedia advertising and digital signs. The SI-96 is powered by the 2.0GHz Intel® Celeron® M 550 processor installed in the IB826 embedded board. It is designed with dual DVI interface for high definition 2D/3D image quality in dual independent displays. A socket P-based version for Intel® Core(TM)2 Duo T7500 is also available.
Gigabit connectivity allows versatile media content delivered smoothly over existing networks. For increased reliability, the fanless SI-96 utilizes a segregated-flow thermal solution and incorporates magnetic levitation bearing fans. Dimensions of the chassis are 270 x 182 x 37mm.
