New Digital Signage Player with NVIDIA ION2 GPU Delivers Unparalleled Graphic Performance

Powered by Intel® Atom(TM) D525 Dual Core processor and paired with compelling NVIDIA ION2 GPU, the NDiS 125-L is powerful at handling rich multimedia contents through VGA and HDMI ports. The NDiS 125-L presents great value as entry level digital signage player for advertising, hospitality and brand promotion application.

FREMONT, Calif., -- NEXCOM has introduced a powerful digital signage player known as NDiS 125-L, powered by 1.8GHz Intel® Atom(TM) D525 Dual Core processor. This advanced Intel® based technology boasts 50% better performance than the previous generation of Atom(TM) N270 CPU, with only a small increase in power consumption. In addition, the hyper threading technology simultaneously supports multi-display. Equipped with NVIDIA ION2 GPU, the NDiS 125-L is capable of supporting 1080P video playback.

NVIDIA Optimus technology gives NDiS 125-L the ability to enable and disable the discrete graphics chip instantly without user interaction. It means that applications utilized the power of the GPU (games, flash video, GPU computing programs for trans-coding, etc) will be able to access that resource without forcing to reboot the system or close down their ongoing programs as they would have had to do previously. Compared to the previous ION generation, the ION2 presents better performance in 3D Mark testing.

NEXCOM's NDiS 125-L is housed in a maintenance-free fanless chassis which reduces moving parts and therefore extends product life span. Users thus benefit from a lower TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) yet industrial grade reliability. NDiS 125-L, compatible with major mainstream digital software, is considered as a brilliant solution for advertising, hospitality, branding, and digital menu board applications.

Samples of the NDiS 125L are available. For more information about NEXCOM Digital Signage, please visit http://www.nexcom.com/ or call +1-510-656-2248.
