Based on 1.8 GHz Intel® Atom(TM) D525 dual-core processor with ICH8-M chipset, Model MPC-42W5 includes 1 GB SDRAM and one 204-pin DDR3 SODIMM that supports up to 4 GB. Unit's 42 in. 16:9 LCD panel, providing up to 1,920 x 1,080 full HD resolution and 178° viewing angle, includes LED backlight that delivers 450 cd/m² luminance. I/O interfaces include 1 CF, 1 LAN, 1 COM, 1 VGA, 2 Mini-PCIe, and 2 USB. HD 720P 130M webcam, HD video decoder, WiFi module, and PIR/CIR/Light Sensor are optional.

Avalue Launches MPC-42W5 Ultra-slim Intelligent Energy-saving Digital Signage Computer
Taipei, Taiwan - Avalue Technology Inc. (TAIEX: 3479-TW), the global leader e-service platform provider, is focusing on providing total embedded solution to global customers. Avalue has introduces the MPC-42W5 - a digital signage computer for large size installation, which designed with Intel® Atom(TM) D525 dual-core processor.
MPC-42W5 is embedded with a 5.25" single-board (EBM-PNV) which powered by an Intel® Atom(TM) dual-core D525 processor with Intel® ICH8-M chipset featuring high reliability, low power consumption, durability and longevity. The board can be replaced for the Mini-ITX, dual-code or quad-code processor, without having to change the system itself. With the varity of I/O interface including 1CF, 1LAN, 1 COM, 1 VGA, 2 Mini-PCIe and 2 USB are selectable on the basis of customers' requirements. HD 720P 130M webcam, High Definition Video Decoder, PIR/ CIR/ Light Sensor/ WiFi are in option.
MPC-42W5 with thin and fashion design, which is easy for wall mounting and good for either embedded or outdoor uses. Using Vesa 400*200 hook wall accessories, the unit can be mounted. With aluminum and rounded corners designed customer can customized frame color or logo.
MPC-42W5's hidden I/O design; there are no any messy cables and I/O interfaces in the rear side. Two built-in 2 watt speakers can be placed in the rear, top side or bottom side in order to achieve the best sound playback in different operating environment.
It equipped with 42" 16:9 LCD display panel, supports up to 1920*1080 Full HD resolutions and wide 178° view angle can show fully image for all audiences. The LED backlight panel gives a luminance of 450cd/m2 and contrast ratio of 4000. On the front panel, flat-surface design with glass panel protective cover, the computer is easy cleaning with no indentations.
MPC-42W5 is in accordance with ErP power function, can reduce system cost and power consumption tremendously for better energy-efficiency. Targeting hypermarkets, MRT stations or cinemas etc. where advertisements digital signages are widely used. New API settings include automatic periodic (time/ day) power on/ off function, so 24H-personnel is not required as well as saving electricity.
