Digital Servo Drive with 100Mbit/s Synqnet(TM) Interface Available with Supply Voltage Ranges from 20 VDC to 460 VAC

Camarillo,California...Advanced Motion Controls announces the availability of its DRQ110EE Series digital drive family with SynqNet(TM) interface. SynqNet(TM) is a high speed, 100Base-T motion control network which replaces the conventional +/-10V and encoder interface between controller and amplifier with a fully digital, 100Mbit/s interface. This allows the servo drive to be mounted in close vicinity of the motor and hence drastically reduce wiring cost and complexity. The SynqNet(TM) network technology was developed by Motion Engineering Inc (www.motioneng.com), and allows centralized motion control for high axis count, high precision applications. These fully digital drives are designed for use with brushed or brushless, rotary or linear servomotors. Drive configuration and tuning can be accomplished through a graphical and intuitive Windows based utility using the serial RS232/485 communication port. Extensive drive protection and error handling are also fully configurable. Various models are available with supply range of 20 VDC to 460VAC, and maximum current output capability in the range of 15A to 100A. Units with AC supply also incorporate a shunt regulator circuit with configurable turn on voltage.
