Measuring 72 x 36 x 77 mm, SWE-73-L digital panel meter features installation depth of 78 mm and has single 4-20 mA current input that also powers device, allowing it to be installed in line with current sensor. Results are displayed on 4-digit, red LED display with 13 mm high digits. Offering peak value detection, unit can display maximum value of sensor output over given time period. Compact, Low Cost Digital Indicator Now with Optional Remote Control
Process manufacturers, panel builders and systems integrators are set to benefit from a new low cost, loop-powered digital panel meter, which offers a very shallow installation depth and is ideal for in line installation with current output sensors or where there is a need to view multiple process parameters quickly.
The SWE-73-L digital panel meter from Impress Sensors & Systems Ltd offers an installation depth of just 78mm and is available with an optional remote control unit for configuration and programming of the display.
The indicator has a single 4-20mA current input, which simultaneously powers the device. The indicator can therefore be installed in line with a current sensor and will display the sensor output. Measurement input is equipped with safety circuits, protecting the unit's internal electronics from overload.
Results are displayed on a 4-digit, red LED display. The 13mm high digits ensure that display results are always easily readable. Configuration of the device can be carried out using an optional IR remote controller, eliminating unwanted button presses.
The freely scaleable digital indicator also offers peak value detection and so is able to display the maximum value of a sensor output over a given time period. Optional alarm output is also available, which means the user can set up limits that trigger a beacon, sounder or other PLC event.
The SWE-73-L housing is very compact, measuring just 72 x 36 x 77mm, enabling panel builders to install the unit into restricted spaces. The indicator is protected to IP40 (front side), although an IP65 version is available with additional seals for the front panel).
