Designed for low-volume and multiple-version label jobs, SurePress(TM) L-4033A prints on various off-the-shelf substrates up to 12.6 mils thick, on rolls from 3.15-13 in. wide, at speeds to 16 fpm. Consistent results are ensured via use of MicroPiezoŽ inkjet technology and 6-color, water-based, pigment inks. Able to fit into existing digital workflows, printer does not require any chemicals or plates in pre-press process.

Epson Introduces Its First Digital Label Press - the SurePress L-4033A

BIRMINGHAM, United Kingdom -- (IPEX Booth 10-C260) -- Epson America today announced the SurePress(TM) L-4033A, a highly versatile short-run digital label press designed to print labels efficiently and profitably. Since first shown in prototype form, SurePress L-4033A has undergone significant developments to meet the growing demand for fast turnaround, low volume, and multiple version label jobs.
SurePress is designed for label converters taking the first steps into digital printing or expanding their existing digital printing capacity. The Epson digital label press prints on a range of off-the-shelf substrates up to 13-inches wide and at speeds up to 16 feet per minute and fits easily into existing digital workflows. SurePress leverages Epson's leading MicroPiezoŽ ink jet technology and newly-developed six-color, water-based, pigment inks to ensure consistent and high quality results.
