Intended for inspection and assembly applications, MIDAS(TM) (Microscope Inspection Digital Application System) aids in viewing, capturing, and documenting images from any direction or angle. Universally positionable solution, which integrates 1.3 MP USB camera and ¼ in. color CMOS image sensor, has 10X-200X magnification range and Hi-Res, 1,280 x 1,024 pixel image capture. Six white LEDs provide illumination, while polarizing lens prevents glare and reflection.

Luxo's MIDAS - Adding Versatility to Digital Image Viewing and Capture
Digital handheld inspection system for inspection and assembly applications.
Luxo's new MIDAS(TM) (Microscope Inspection Digital Application System) is a universally-positionable digital inspection system which provides a versatile way of viewing, capturing and documenting images from any direction or angle. MIDAS(TM) features a polarizing lens, 1.3 MP USB Camera and ¼" Color CMOS image sensor to provide a magnification range of 10X to 200X. The system is ideal for assembly, repair, inspection, leak detection, document authenticity, criminology, museum and artwork restoration, currency verification and gemstone and mineral examination.
Six white LEDs provide abundant illumination while a polarizing lens prevents glare and reflection by reducing the wavelengths of light mirrored through the optics of the camera. MIDAS(TM) has a 150mm working distance at 10X magnification and a 13mm working distance at 50X magnification. MIDAS(TM) is operated using a handheld trigger which permits hi-resolution, 1280x1024 (HxV) pixel, image capture.
MIDAS(TM) can be used alone or is available with either a 13.8 inch gooseneck arm or an adjustable boomstand with a 9.8 inch horizontal and 11.6 inch vertical reach. MIDAS(TM) is UL/cUL listed and carries a five-year warranty.
