February 25, 2009 - Providing 16 optically isolated inputs and 16 Reed relay outputs, DIO-32.PCIe can be used for PC based control and automation of equipment including sensors, switches, A/V studio automation, security control systems, and industrial automation systems. It is available in 2 versions with inputs rated for 3-13 or 10-30 V, and socketed dip resistors allow user configurable input ranges from +2 to +30 V. Board comes with 72 in. cable with DB78 male connector to DB37 male/female connectors.

Sealevel Systems introduces the DIO-32.PCIe, the company's first PCI Express digital I/O interface adapter. The DIO-32.PCIe provides 16 optically isolated inputs and 16 Reed relay outputs, which can be utilized for PC based control and automation of equipment including sensors, switches, A/V studio automation, security control systems, and industrial automation systems. Sealevel PCI Express serial boards are designed for computers with X1 PCI Express slots. Software for standard PCI boards will also work with PCI Express boards, simplifying your transition to this next-generation PCI bus.

The isolated inputs protect the PC and other sensitive equipment from the voltage spikes and ground loop currents that are common to industrial environments. The board is available in two versions with inputs rated for 3-13V or 10-30V. Socketed dip resistors allow user configurable input ranges from +2V to +30V. The outputs provide high quality, long-life, dry contact switch closures suitable for low current applications. The highly reliable 10VA Reed relays are normally open and close when energized.

Sealevel SeaI/O Classic software drivers and utilities make installation and operation easy using Windows 2000, XP and Vista operating systems. Software support for Linux is also available.

The DIO-32.PCIe is available immediately from stock priced at $479 for inputs rated 3-13V (Item# 8004e)and 10-30V (Item# 8004He). Also included is a 72" cable with a DB78 male connector to DB37 males and DB37 female connectors (Item# CA165). Standard operating temperature range is 0 - +70°C. Like all Sealevel I/O products, the DIO-32.PCIe is backed by a lifetime warranty.
