Intelligent Selections(TM) takes pictures of vehicles in drive-in lanes of banks and credit unions with resolution that allows license plate data to be clearly seen and understood. They are captured in Bitmap format, compressed 40X and stored according to time/date/camera number and alarm number, which are available for sorting, viewing, printing and copying from any PC attached to network. Up to 7 lanes or areas may be covered by one camera.

License Plate Pictures Captured by Virtue of Intelligent Selections Resolution!!
Austin, TX.-Gray Electronics announces INTELLIGENT SELECTIONS(TM) incredible ability to intelligently select pictures of vehicles in drive-in lanes of Banks & Credit Unions with resolution that allows the LICENSE PLATE data to be clearly seen and understood. This capability raises the bar for Digital Capture systems to follow and opens a completely new application for Digital Capture Systems. Color Pictures of Vehicle LICENSE PLATE data are intelligently selected, Captured and Stored on TCP/IP Network Databases as a result Detection's by PIR's installed in the ceiling area above each drive-in lane of this Credit Union. This Patented technology, introduced in 1996, utilizes Windows 98 technology to create TCP/IP Network Server, databases that are populated with 640 X 480 24 bit COLOR pictures, captured in Bitmap format, compressed 40X and stored according to time/date/camera number and Alarm number are available for Sorting, Viewing, Printing and copying from any PC attached to the Network. Pictures retrieved from the databases are De-Compressed or UnZipped BACK to original FULL Bitmap resolution of 640 X 480, 24 bit Color for inclusion in MS Word documents like this news release, etc. (901 Kbytes).
INTELLIGENT SELECTION demonstrates the possibility of providing IDENTIFICATION pictures of vehicles in Drive-in Lanes of Banks and Credit Unions, Parking Garages, Airports, University and School Campuses, Traffic Intersections or any other application where vehicle IDENTIFICATION would be useful by providing identification of vehicles and drivers during an investigation and possible prosecution. Color Speed Dome Cameras with "Alarm to Pre-Set" abilities are connected to the same PIR's as INTELLIGENT SELECTION, to furnish the Zoomed in, close-up pictures that are a result of the PIR's detection's, thereby allowing intelligent selection of these HIGH RESOLUTION pictures. Typically up to (7) Seven lanes or areas may be covered by one camera. As recently published in Security magazine, this intelligent selection was utilized inside a Credit Union to provide FRONT and FULL BODY views of customers at teller windows.
