Toronto, Canada - GAO Comm (www.GAOComm.com) has announced the release of its handheld digital/analog signal level meter. It includes functions for MER, BER, constellation, channel, carrier noise ratio and rail voltage testing and is commonly used for QAM.

This portable and rugged signal level meter, model 2007, features low bandwidth, fast processing speed, low static power consumption and high dependability. When conducting digital television channel measurement, it operates at a frequency range of 5MHz to 862MHz and provides DVB-C/ITU-T and J.83-AnnexA/B/C tuning modes; it also features adjustable bandwidth. When under analog television channel measurement mode, it offers a level measurement range of 25dBuV to 120dBuV at an accuracy of ±1.5dB. This rugged signal level meter is embedded with an integrated microprocessor and boasts an automatic battery voltage test function.
