IRVINE, Calif., April 14 -- With IOGEAR's DVI Video / Audio Extender Kit, digital signage professionals can distribute video and audio signals up to 100 feet away to a designated display with a single cable.
The kit consists of two DVI units, a local transmitter and a remote receiver, which users connect with a CAT 5e/6 Ethernet cable. Using DVI cords, the transmitting component links to the native source and the receiving extender hooks up to a DVI display. Ideal for audio / video set-ups in remote, insecure locations, the product can broadcast audio and video material for a variety of digital signage settings, including exhibits, trade shows, train stations and airports.
