March 30, 2004 - Auto-Lok Differential is used on primary drive axle and replaces limited slip or open differential. It allows wheels to rotate at different speeds and transfers equal power to both wheels, regardless of traction. Locking and unlocking are handled automatically. Self-contained part has no levers or other mechanisms to engage or disengage. It provides positive back drive through both wheels and torque rating of 60 ft lb per wheel.

The Hilliard Auto-Lok Differential is used on the primary drive axle and replaces the limited slip or open differential. It allows the wheels to rotate at different speeds, but also offers the benefit of equal power transferred to both wheels, regardless of traction.
With this advantage, the Auto-Lok Differential brings new levels of improved steering and maneuverability to applications such as snowthrowers, lawnmowers, trenchers, and other self-propelled walk-behind equipment. Locking and unlocking are handled automatically. The part is self-contained, with no levers or other mechanisms to engage or disengage. Its compact design is specially engineered to provide positive back drive through both wheels and a torque rating of 60 ft lbs per wheel.
