May 14, 2009 - Made of lightweight aluminum or 316/316L stainless steel, Models 220/240 Explosion Proof Indicating Switches feature weather-resistant 4½ in. gauge front and ½ in. FNPT cable or conduit entry. Piston-style Model 220 has working pressure to 4,000 psi and ranges from 0-5 and 0-100 psid, while diaphragm-style Model 240 features 1,500 psi working pressure and ranges from 0-20 in. H2O to 0-100 psid. Both are CSA, UL, and ATEX certified.

Mid-West Instrument's New Explosion- Proof Differential Pressure Switches Meet Global Standards


Mid-West Instrument, a 30 year leader in explosion-proof, differential pressure gauge and switch design announces the firm's new line of 220 / 240 Explosion proof, differential indicating switches. These extremely light-weight and ruggedly compact family of indicating switches set a new standard of excellence in Explosion- Proof design.

The new 220 / 240 differential indicating switches are CSA, UL and ATEX certified.. As a condition of continuing certification, Mid-West Instrument is subject to un-announced audits by all certifying bodies. This applies to the entire assembly as mandated by the applicable hazardous locations standards.

Benefits of the 220 / 240 Indicating Switches:
