November 8, 2007 - Constructed of PVC, polyetherimide, and polycarbonate materials, FreeFlow(TM) differential pressure flow meter features segmented wedge design that results in minimally invasive measurement. Solution is designed to address flow metering needs of OEM and integrated process monitoring and control applications. Handling pressures to 150 psig and temperatures to 200°F, unit delivers measuring accuracy of ±2% of range and repeatability of ±½% of FS.

AW-Lake Company Announces New FreeFlow(TM) Differential Pressure Flow Meter


FRANKSVILLE, WI - November 5, 2007
AW-Lake Company, the leading North American manufacturer and distributor of flow meter products, is pleased to announce the release of a new differential pressure flow meter, adding to Lake Monitor's brand of flow measuring instruments. The introduction of this new flow meter type to Lake Monitor's offering of reliable, economical flow measurement instruments adds a simple alternative measurement technique which incorporates no moving parts.

The FreeFlow flow meter is a rugged, compact meter constructed of PVC, polyetherimide and polycarbonate materials. Its simple segmented wedge design offers a low cost, reliable and minimally invasive measurement technique. Measuring accuracy of the FreeFlow flow meter is ±2% of range, with repeatability of ±1/2% of full scale.

Lake engineers developed the new meter utilizing the segmented wedge differential pressure sensing technology to address the flow metering needs of OEM and integrated process monitoring and control applications. The FreeFlow is targeted toward applications demanding a low cost, minimally invasive and maintenance free flow measuring solution.
