Custom manufactured, precision die- and mold-ready components that can feature a wide range of geometries and be made from a variety of steels are being introduced by Ezell Precision Tool Co. of Clearwater, Florida.
Ezell Custom Die and Mold Components include intricate mold cores, sleeves, cavities, and related parts with tolerances to 0.000050”, depending upon configuration. Manufactured to customer specification, they can incorporate multiple diameters, stepped sleeves, precision holes, ring vents, and form ground ends with radii, flats, spirals, and odd shapes in miniature to large sizes.
Featuring diameters down to 0.002” and up to 8”, in lengths up to 12”, Ezell Custom Die and Mold Components can be precision machined from various steels: including 0-1, M-2, and H-13 tool steels, 420 and 440 stainless steels, powdered steel, and copper alloys; supplied with finishes to 2RMS. Miniature core pins for a wide range of applications can also be produced.
