Deep Vacuum, High Suction Diaphragm Pump for Roughing, Backing

This diaphragm pump has high pumping speed near the <1.5 mbar end vacuum, using only 3 heads.

KNF announces the release of its latest vacuum pump, the N920. This revolutionary pump provides high flow at near-maximum vacuum, the region where traditional diaphragm pumps have the most significant reduction in performance. It achieves up to <1.3 m3/hr pumping speed and a rapid <1.5 mbar abs. ultimate end vacuum. This pump is available as a portable pump or as an OEM model with a DC or AC power connection.

As a further convenience, this pump is equipped with a manual speed control or analog motor speed input that enables the user to vary the output performance of the pump to match individual system needs, and allowing for quieter operation and an increased lifetime. Its unique three stage design incorporates inter-head connections within the pump head, enabling use of fewer moving parts, increased reliability and less expensive maintenance. The universal motor is capable of operation on 24 VDC, or AC voltages of 90 to 264 VAC at 50-60 Hz.

The N920 offers excellent long term vacuum stability with its patented diaphragm stabilization system, and high efficiency valves which can be used in roughing and backing applications, including mass spectrometers and leak detectors. A corrosion-resistant version is also available in a PPS/PTFE envelope.
