Capable of handling up to 155°C and 220 bar to prevent solidification of product, pumps incorporate totally enclosed, sealless pump head design with PTFE sandwich diaphragm as well as diaphragm pre-positioning device to prevent damage at start-up. Product is offered with multiple pump heads and are hydraulically actuated.

Diaphragm pumps that have proven effective for the production of melamine resins as well as adhesives, coating systems, binding agents, and flame retardants have been introduced by AMERICAN LEWA, Inc. of Holliston, MA.
LEWA Diaphragm Pumps for the production of melamine resins feature a heat jacket for the entire pump head cover and valve body to assure that the urea will remain liquid. Capable of handling up to 155°C and 220 bar to prevent solidification of the product, these pumps incorporate a totally enclosed, sealless pump head design with a PTFE sandwich diaphragm, and a diaphragm pre-positioning device to prevent damage at start-up.
Available with multiple pump heads, depending upon throughput requirements, LEWA Diaphragm Pumps for the production of melamine resins are hydraulically actuated and the pre-positioning device provides a bypass for the hydraulic fluid to automatically pre-position the diaphragm at the rear, while the pump is at rest. They can be custom built to meet a wide range of specific customer requirements.
