Ingersoll Rand Productivity Solutions / ARO Fluid Products announces the addition of a new stainless steel model to its EXP line of air-operated diaphragm pumps for the process industries. Capable of deliveries up to 123 GPM (465 lpm), the new EXP 1-1/2 inch ports stainless steel - constructed pumps represent the very latest in pump design expertise with a host of innovative features that can help solve performance downtime issues while lowering costs. Starting with their patented stall-free air valve technology, the new EXP 1-1/2" metallic pumps bring reliability to new levels with a simplified, "unbalanced" major shift valve that provides stall-free operation-even under low inlet pressures. The main EXP air motor design features a corrosion-resistant housing that contains patented anti-ice and trip-rod valve designs to avoid pump stall-out while insuring a positive shift every time. Like the major shift valve arrangement, these ice-free, positive trip-over features translate into serious savings through reduced pump "downtime".
