January 10, 2012 - Measuring 17 x 26 x 31 mm, Type NMP05 features bolted-on pump head for gas tightness and molded diaphragm with structured surface. Variety of brush-type DC motors or ironless-core DC and BLDC motors with integrated electronics can be specified. Depending on model, pump can achieve flow rates to 450 ml/min, continuous vacuum to 15.2 in. Hg, and continuous pressure to 2.2 psig. Maintenance-free pump is suitable for portable, battery-operated equipment applications.

KNF 'Type NMP05' Diaphragm Micropump for Air and Gases Delivers High Performance in a Miniature Package


The KNF "Type NMP05" diaphragm micropump for sampling air and gases combines high performance with precision miniature packaging to deliver smooth-running, efficient, and reliable operation for a wide range of portable, battery-operated equipment applications. This miniature OEM pump measures 17mm (width) x 26mm (height) x 31mm (length) and weighs as little as 18 g to provide an ideal solution for industrial hygiene devices, air samplers, and medical analyzers, among many other uses.
Features include a bolted-on pump head ensuring excellent gas tightness and an innovative molded diaphragm with structured surface enabling maximum end vacuum and extended lifetime. A variety of economical, low-current, robust, brush-type DC motors or premium, longer-life, ironless-core DC and BLDC motors with integrated electronics featuring low EMI/RFI can be specified. A unique valve system promotes low aerodynamic loss and optimized flow. Oil-less operation allows for uncontaminated flow of the pumped medium. The pump requires no maintenance.

Depending on model, this pump can achieve flow rates to 450 ml/min., continuous vacuum to 500 mbar (15.2 in. Hg), and continuous pressure to 150 mbar (2.2 psig). All KNF micropumps can be mounted in any position and can be modified or otherwise customized to satisfy particular application requirements. Sample quantities are available for qualified OEM designers.
