Elster Launches AC-800 Industrial Gas Meter
Compact, lightweight, easy-to-install AC-800 diaphragm meter expected to improve accuracy retention and reduce lifecycle maintenance costs
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- AGA Operations Conference -- Elster (NYSE: ELT) today announced the availability of its AC-800 commercial diaphragm gas meter, a compact, high-capacity, positive displacement meter designed for commercial and industrial applications. Elster believes that the AC-800 diaphragm meter is market-leading for accuracy retention and lifecycle maintenance economies.
The AC-800 enables customers to reduce their costs while maintaining high, long-term accuracy measurement and reliability. The AC-800 weighs half as much as traditional diaphragm meters, which facilitates installation by a single technician and reduces the possibility for injury. The meter's design also incorporates a front mount index that enables the use of a lower cost residential style radio for automated meter reading (AMR) or advanced metering infrastructure (AMI).
