OTTAWA, Canada - Tuesday, September 27, 2005 - Impatica Inc., an industry leader in the
delivery and viewing of PowerPoint presentations over the Internet and wireless
networks, today unveiled Impatica ShowMate-the first and only solution to allow
BlackBerry users to project PowerPoint presentations directly from their handhelds.
Impatica will be showcasing the ShowMate in booth # 965 at the CTIA Wireless IT 2005
show this week in San Francisco.

"We have been anxiously awaiting the ShowMate since the concept was first presented to
us," said Mark Richardson, Director of Business Innovations, Scotiabank. "Leaving my
laptop behind and delivering PowerPoint presentations directly from my BlackBerry will
be a huge benefit. It's a major step in the paradigm shift from laptops to handhelds forthe mobile professional."

RIM's BlackBerry is unquestionably a powerful productivity tool but, until now, mobile
professionals had to carry their laptop in order to make presentations. With ShowMate,
the BlackBerry delivers an even higher level of productivity and utility.

Impatica ShowMate is the first device of its kind to allow BlackBerry users to project PowerPoint presentations directly from their handhelds, without need for a laptop computer. A pocket-sized device that weighs nine ounces, ShowMate supports full-featured PowerPoint presentations including rich text, images, charts, graphs, animations and slide transition effects.

To utilize ShowMate, PowerPoint presentations can be transferred to the BlackBerry directly from the user's desktop or a web site or received over-the-air as an e-mail attachment. Once on location and ready to present, they simply connect the ShowMate to their BlackBerry and to the projector or large screen display and start the presentation.

"With our Impatica for BlackBerry Enterprise Server, we already had the ability for
BlackBerry users to receive and display PowerPoint e-mail attachments," commented
Michael Doyle, CEO of Impatica. "As we began to market that product, we were constantly challenged to go the next step-to enable the BlackBerry to connect directl
a projector. With ShowMate, we've met that challenge."

Impatica's ShowMate is available from more than a dozen distributors and strategic
partners around the world and from Impatica directly at www.impatica.com.
