HORSHAM, Pa., Sept. 17 / / - Motorola, Inc's. (NYSE: MOT) Home and Networks Mobility business today announced the rollout of the NBBS remote device management software platform's WiMAX solution. With the introduction of this new NBBS solution, Motorola has extended its industry leading device and service management platform to serve broadband wireless carriers. NBBS' WiMAX solution enables carriers to accelerate the introduction of new revenue generating applications and solutions, while reducing operational and support costs.

NBBS is part of Motorola's overall Service Assurance solutions suite - enhancing Quality of Service (QoS) at the edge of the network. The NBBS WiMAX Solution allows WiMAX network operators to successfully address the challenges of delivering broadband WiMAX services. Through automated service provisioning and comprehensive device management, NBBS enables operators to remotely activate, access, configure, and troubleshoot a full portfolio of fixed and/or mobile WiMAX devices; including CPE, PC Cards and handsets.
