Fabricated from steel for strength, permanent and portable derails are designed to meet OSHA and FRA regulations for spur track protection. Permanent hinged derail stands 3 in. above top of rail and is available in one-way or two-way styles. Lifting lever accessory reduces lifting effort to less than 20 lb. Portable one-way derail stands 2¾ in. above top of rail and weighs 35 lb.

New Low-Clearance Derails
Aldon Company, Inc. of Waukegan, Illinois introduces a new line of permanent and portable derails designed to meet OSHA and FRA regulations for spur track protection. Aldon's new derails feature steel fabrication for strength, low-height above rail, and prompt delivery for all models.
Aldon's permanent hinged derail stands 3" above top of rail and is available in one-way or two-way styles. A handy lifting lever accessory reduces lifting effort to less than 20 lbs. Aldon's portable oneway derail stands only 2-3/4" above the top of rail and weighs only 35 pounds -- the lightest portable derail on the market.
