Deck Screws allow fast installation of composite decking.

Press Release Summary:

Collated Composite Deck Screws use dual-thread design, which eliminates mushrooming of composite deck during installation. Five-sided thread displaces less deck material and reduces driving torque by over 23% versus comparable screws. Stainless-steel screws resist corrosion and rust, and come in #10 x 2 in. and #10 x 3 in. sizes. They eliminate pre-drilling in most applications and install with P13 auto-feed screwdriver system.

New Collated Deck Screws for Fast Installation of Composite Decking

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina---PAM Fastening Technology introduces a new line of collated composite deck screws designed to eliminate common problems when working with various composite decking materials.

The composite deck screw, is designed for use with PAM's P13 autofeed screwdriver system that uses collated screws to quickly attach deck boards. The new screw uses a dual thread design that eliminates "mushrooming" of the composite deck during installation.

Unlike most composite deck screws, the PAM Fastening screw does not require pre-drilling in most applications, which saves time during large deck installations. The five-sided thread design displaces less of the deck material and reduces driving torque by over 23% versus other comparable screws.

Available in two coated colors, tan and gray, and stainless steel, the PAM composite deck screws resist corrosion and rust. The screws are available in #10 by 2 _ inch and #10 by 3 inch sizes.

These screws are part of PAM Fastening Technology's family of fastening systems that include a wide variety of collated screws for use in their Autofeed Screw System. The Autofeed Screw System is ideal for various building applications including decking, drywall and roofing installations. With speeds averaging 2-3 seconds per driven screw, the system reduces work hours and ensures uniformity.
