Abtex Corporation Introduces Bradex® Flow-Through Deburring System for Short Parts

Abtex Corporation has introduced a big machine for short parts. With one pass, the Bradex® semi-automatic double head flow-through system simultaneously deburrs both ends of short extrusions, measuring from 1"-3" in length. To date, Bradex end deburring systems have built to debur parts up to 60" long.

Each of the four 12 or 14 inch Bradex disc brushes is driven by a powerful three horsepower motor. The brush motors are mounted on tool slides for precise alignment of the brushes to the ends of the parts. A variable speed, manually-fed conveyor system allows for deburring rates of up to 1,200 parts per hour.

The Bradex flow-thru deburring system is engineered for precise control of part penetration into the brush face. Bradex fiber abrasive brushes' flexible, multi-directional wiping action deburrs extrusions quicker and more completely than other systems. The abrasive action is concentrated on the ends of the extrusion, minimizing any effect on the lateral surface.

For information on the new Bradex deburring system or the complete Bradex product line, contact Abtex Corporation, 89 Main Street, P.O. Box 188, Dresden, New York 14441. Telephone, toll-free, 888.662.2839. Fax 315.536.0280, or e-mail sales@abtex.com.
