Inlite Research Announces Comprehensive Check21 Image Quality Metrics Analysis Engine Providing Complete Test Coverage as Specified by ASC X9
Sunnyvale, CA - May 20, 2009 - Inlite Research Inc, a leading worldwide provider of production quality tools for data capture, today announced the general availability of the ClearCheck21 IQA Engine. The rapidly expanding market for check21 image exchange as a means of remote check deposit and clearing requires the evaluation of image quality metrics for each image, to ensure that it complies with internal standards and with exchange requirements. ClearCheck21 IQA is an independent engine that can be associated with any scanning or imaging system to provide the required metrics rapidly, accurately, and requires minimal expertise in imaging from its users.
ClearCheck21 runs under windows to examine thousands of check images per hour. The metrics it analyzes include:

The engine can extract and correct the document image to present the best possible quality, a particularly useful feature for truncating organizations because it raises the quality of the images that they submit for exchange or for statements. The engine provides:
o All the X9 metrics as a built in feature
o Simultaneous, multiple, fully customizable test profiles. A profile specifies the tests to run and their thresholds.
o MICR line verification
o Input as X9.37 cash letter
o Input as image directory with customized import rules to match rear and front images
