Panasonic Introduces WJ-HD220 DVR as Drop-In Replacement for VCRs

Dallas, TX (September 27, 2004) - Panasonic Security Systems is displaying the latest addition to the company's comprehensive line of DVR solutions here at ASIS 2004. The new WJ-HD220 DVR is designed for stand-alone operations and provides an ideal replacement for a wide range of system applications using VCRs. The new DVR is a self-contained system with 8 inputs plus camera control and networking capabilities.

In addition, the unit features on-board networking capabilities for integration into networked systems which allows the unit to be configured in a wide range of systems applications employing distributed architecture.
