NTI Now Offering DVI Extender via Single-Strand Fiber Optic Cable

ST-1FODVI-SC (Receiver and Transmitter)

AURORA, OH: Network Technologies Inc today announced the addition of the XTENDEX® DVI Extender via Fiber Optic Cable to its popular line of DVI extenders.

The XTENDEX DVI Extender via Fiber Optic Cable locates a single link digital DVI display up to 3,280 feet (1,000 meters) from a computer using a single-strand SC multimode fiber optic cable. Each extender consists of a transmitter that connects to a computer and a receiver that connects to a monitor.

The extender features EDID learning for the support of any DVI display device, and supports resolutions up to 1920x1200. A single strand of multimode SC fiber optic cable transmits the signal without RF interference for sensitive applications. The small form factor allows for easy connection and placement, allowing for the cables to be previously installed in conduit prior to extender installation.
