WAGO EPSITRON® COMPACT Power Supplies

GERMANTOWN, WI - Five COMPACT units have joined WAGO Corporation's DIN-rail mount EPSITRON® Power Supply line. Ideal for restricted installation depths, EPSITRON® COMPACT complies with DIN 43880, specifying equipment dimensions for distribution and meter panels. Ranging between 30W to 100W, EPSITRON® COMPACT units provide 12 and 24VDC output.

SMALL WORLD:
EPSITRON® COMPACT carries UL, provides Protection Class II and allows a wide input range of feeds from 85 to 264VAC. This cost-effectively permits machine operation on international supply networks without additional conversion or settings. Tolerance of supply network voltage fluctuations also increases. The design enables distributed control systems to be supplied in low-profile distribution boxes or operator panels. To support building automation, EPSITRON® COMPACT may be mounted upside-down within ceiling panels.

HIGH LOAD-CARRYING CAPACITY:
EPSITRON® COMPACT utilizes Constant Current Mode for switching-in loads with high inrush currents. During overload, output current is typically limited to 110% of the rated current with a simultaneously lowered output voltage. For low-OHM short-circuits, output voltage is reduced to zero and automatically reinstated upon short-circuit elimination. The units provide an LED indicator for output voltage availability and pot for output voltage adjustment.

WAGO is the leader in spring pressure connection technology that eliminates loose wires resulting from vibration and temperature cycling, while providing highly reliable, corrosion-resistant and maintenance-free connections. Products: DIN-rail, PCB and chassis mount terminal blocks; signal conditioners; the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM and more.
