Supplied in IP54 package that measures 2.24 in. dia x 9.25 in. long, including failsafe brake, Model No. MMP D22-490F-36V GP52-124 BR-005 accepts any 36 Vdc source and develops 217 lb-in. torque at 26 rpm. Reversible gearmotor weighs ~5 lb, has keyed output shaft of 12 mm dia x 25 mm long, and requires 3.0 A @ 36 Vdc to generate full load torque. Motor windings for 12, 24, 28, 42, 48, 60, and 90 V are available, and support for variable-speed control is standard.

Midwest Motion Products, Inc. of Watertown, Minnesota, is pleased to announce the release of a new DC Gear Motor, with integral failsafe brake, the Model No. MMP D22-490F-36V GP52-124 BR-005. Accepting any 36 Volt DC source, including solar or battery power, this robust Gear Motor measures just 2.24" in Diameter, by 9.25" long, including the Failsafe Brake, and has a keyed output shaft of 12mm diameter by 25mm long. Easy mounting is accomplished with 4 "face mount" M5 threaded holes, equally spaced on a 40mm Dia. B.C.
The output of this reversible gearmotor is rated for 217 Lb. In. (25 Nm) torque, at 26 RPM. Despite its compact size, and weight of approximately 5 pounds, it's an efficient design, requiring just 3.0 Amps at 36 Volts DC to generate its Full Load Torque. That translates into long life battery charge, very low noise operation, and lower costs for related drive electronics. Motor windings for 12V, 24V, 28V, 42V, 48V, 60V & 90 Volts are available.
This unique design is rated at an "IP 54" protection level for operation in harsh environments. Variable Speed control can be accomplished with our fully compatible Speed Controls, Model MMP 25A-48V, or MMP 20A-48V-RSP.
