24V/12V DC-DC Power Converter Tolerates ISO7637-2 and SAE J1455 Voltage Transients in Mobile Applications

Tech9 Corporation has just introduced a new 1 amp dc-dc power converter that tolerates ISO7637-2 voltage transients (especially the load dump condition) as well as the similar SAE J1455 voltage transients. The Model PC24-12-1 power converter offers + 2% output voltage tolerance with excellent line and load rejection characteristics (60DB typical). Efficiency is typically 90%. The unit offers short circuit protection. The power converters can be operated in ambient temperatures as high as 85°C. Extended temperature range is available.
The company offers power converters with other voltage outputs down to 3.3VDC and other amperage ratings, including 0.5 amps, 1 amp and 1.5 amps and special orders. The power converters are available with and without enclosures. Distributor inquiries are invited.
