March 3, 2010 - Featuring medical-grade design, CFQor Converters provide isolated DC power for applications requiring CF Body Contact and Defibrillation Pulse withstand capability as specified in EN60601. Fixed-switching frequency, ¼-brick units deliver 105 W from nominal input voltage of 12, 24, or 48 V and include output voltages of 5, 12, 15, or 24 V. Compliant with 6/6 RoHS, units are designed for 4,250 V, 100 MW input-to-output isolation and are completely encased for harsh environments.

SynQor Extends its Range of Medical High Efficiency DC-DC Converters

BOXBOROUGH, Mass., - SynQor announces the expansion of its family of medical grade products. The CFQor dc/dc converters are designed to provide isolated dc power for applications requiring CF Body Contact and Defibrillation Pulse withstand capability as specified in EN60601. These fixed-switching frequency converters use SynQor's synchronous rectifier based technology to achieve extremely high-efficiency. The CFQor quarter-brick series delivers 105W from a nominal input voltage of 12V, 24V or 48V and includes output voltages of 5V, 12V, 15V or 24V. Each module is supplied completely encased to provide protection from harsh environments, and is available with an optional flanged style baseplate.

Features include remote on/off, +10% to -20% output voltage trim range, remote sense, input under-voltage lockout, output over-voltage protection, active back bias limit, thermal shutdown, output current limit and short circuit protection. The CFQor quarter-brick series was designed for 4250V, 100MW input-to-output isolation and is 6/6 RoHS compliant.
