October 12, 2012 - Featuring wide input voltage range of 2:1 and 4:1, respectively, 30 Watt Series THN-30 and THN-30WI deliver regulated output voltages of 3.3, 5.0, 12, 15, 24, ±12, and ±15 Vdc, even under no load conditions. Units include remote On/Off control, 1,500 Vdc I/O isolation, and protection against over temperature and short circuit. Housed in 1 x 1 x 0.4 in., 6-sided shielded metal case with insulated baseplate, converters are suited for battery-operated systems and wherever space on PCB is critical.

Wrentham, MA - Power Sources Unlimited, Inc. announces the new THN-30 and THN-30WI Series of high-performance single and dual output DC/DC converter modules with high power density.

All models have a wide-input voltage range of 2:1 or 4:1 and precisely regulated output voltages of 3.3, 5.0, 12, 15, 24, & ±12, ±15VDC, even under no load conditions. High efficiency across load range makes this product very reliable and with an operating temperatures range of -40°C to +80°C they are ideally suited for extreme temperature conditions.

Packaged in a 1" x 1" x 0.4" six-sided shielded metal case with insulated baseplate, additional features include low input current at no load, remote On/Off control, and protection against over temperature and short circuit make these converters an ideal solution for battery-operated systems. Typical applications are in mobile equipments, instrumentation, distributed power architectures in communication and industrial electronics and everywhere where space on the PCB is critical.

Units start in the mid $40's in OEM quantities. Prototypes are available in 2–4 weeks, production quantities from 8–10 weeks ARO.
