Providing isolation barriers for medical applications with patient contact, M1WG/M1WH series (1 W) and M2WG/M2WH series (2 W) are available with 6 kV isolation voltage tested for 1 min. Parts are available with single and dual outputs and come in SIP or DIP packages; latter is UL-Listed. Able to achieve efficiencies to 85%, M1WY (1 W) and M2WY (2 W) converters offer 10 kV isolation voltages. All units operate in -40 to +85°C ambient temperature range without derating.

DC/DC Converters to 10kV Isolation
MEGA Electronics Inc. introduces the new high isolation DC/DC converter series. The new M1WG and M1WH series (1 Watt), M2WG and M2WH (2 Watt) series are available with 6kV isolation voltage tested for 1 minute. The parts are available with both single and dual outputs and come in SIP or DIP packages, the DIP package being UL listing. Ambient temperature ranges from -40C to +85C without derating and efficiencies achieve 85%. 10kV isolation voltages are available in our M1WY with 1Watt of power and M2WY with 2Watts of power. These devices make excellent isolation barriers for medical applications with patient contact.
