Series AM20E-Z 20 W converters offer inputs of 9-18, 18-36, and 35-72 Vdc and ±0.5% balanced and 1,500 Vdc isolated single and dual output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, and ±12 V and ±15 Vdc. With short circuit and overvoltage/overcurrent protection, 2 x 1 in. units offer isolated outputs, eliminating output interaction problems while allowing reverse polarity of output with reference to input. They feature temperature range of 40°C to +70°C and to +85°C with derating.

New 20 Watt 2 x 1 in. DC-DC Converter with High Efficiency (up to 93%) and Wide (2:1) Input Ranges
Aimtec, a global supplier of DC-DC power converters, adds the AM20E-Z to its DC-DC product offering.
The wide, 2:1 input range of 9~18 VDC and 18~36 VDC and 36-72 VDC makes the AM20E-Z series of 2"x1" converters suitable for an assortment of applications, including data communication equipment, distributed power systems, telecommunication equipment, mixed analog/digital subsystems, process/industrial control equipment, computer peripheral systems and industrial robotic systems.
Adjustable, tightly regulated, balanced (±0.5%) and isolated (1600VDC) single and dual output voltages of 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, ±12V and ±15VDC feature short circuit, over voltage and over current protection. The isolated outputs of the AM20E-Z series eliminates output interaction problems, while allowing reverse polarity of the output with reference to the input.
Other useful features of the AM20E-Z series include output trim function (±10%) and remote ON/OFF control, for applications where power conservation is required and / or there is a need for the power supplies to switch ON and OFF in a specific sequence, within an operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C and to +85°C with derating.
The AM20E-Z series complies with the 60950-1 safety standard, as well as EMC standards EN55022 for emissions and EN61000 for immunity.
