Astrodyne Introduces MicroVerter® Series High Reliability DC/DC Converters


MicroVerter® Series
MANSFIELD, MA - With the recent acquisition of RO Associates, Astrodyne has expanded its line of DC/DC converters to include the high-reliability, high-density MicroVerter® Series. This series ranges from 200-300 Watts available in ¾ brick. The MicroVerter Series features -40°C to +100°C operation (-55°C optional), current sharing, remote sense, switching frequency synch option, and trimmable output for rugged and extreme applications.

The MicroVerter Series includes the 2nd Generation Series (UV-164) available with higher power and efficiency, same Pin Out - Drop In, identical trim function, and available with full SnPb (no pure tin), SnPb solder (5/6 RoHS), or Lead Free RoHS options. Construction features driving the higher performance of the new UV-164 series include automated assembly, low capacitance Insulated Metal Substrate Technology, and our 4th Generation Planar Transformer Technology.

RO products are known for their module-based power conversion solutions, which are now a mainstay in military, industrial and other harsh environment markets.
