Measuring 1.875 x 3.125 in., 3 A Buck-Boost DC-DC Converters are available with outputs of 3, 3.3, 5, 6, 9, 12, 15, and 24 Vdc, making them suited for mobile and portable devices in industrial, automotive, railroad, medical, military, and process control applications. Units are short circuit proof and can be operated in ambient temperatures up to 70°C. Available with or without enclosures and flanges, converters offer +2% output voltage tolerance with typical line/load rejection of 60 dB.

3 Amp Buck-Boost DC to DC Power Converter Accepts 6V to70V Inputs with Constant Output
Tech9's new 3 amp DC to DC converter provides more power (up to 36 volt-amps) than other models in the company's line of power converters. The buck-boost converters accept inputs ranging from 6V to 70V with constant output. Models are available with outputs of 3 VDC, 3.3 VDC, 5 VDC, 6 VDC, 9 VDC, 12 VDC, 15 VDC and 24 VDC. According to the company, these units are ideal for mobile and portable devices in industrial, commercial, automotive, railroad, medical, military and process control applications. Options include SAE J1455, ISO-7637-2 load dump protection and noise abatement. The units are short circuit proof. The power converters can be operated in ambient temperatures as high as 70°C (85°C by special order). Extended input range down to 4V is available.
The boards measure just 1.875" x 3.125." The units are available with or without enclosures, and the enclosures are available with or without flanges. Enclosures measure 2.13" x 3.25" x 2.13"H. Flanged enclosure mounting holes are 3.76" x 0.91" on centers. Tech9's power converters offer + 2% output voltage tolerance with excellent line and load rejection characteristics (60DB typical).
