Dytran Instruments Introduces High Performance DC MEMS Accelerometers

Chatsworth, California, USA - Dytran Instruments, Inc. (www.dytran.com) a leading designer of piezoelectric and DC MEMS accelerometers, dynamic force and pressure sensors and associated electronics, has introduced a new series of high performance DC accelerometers. The Dytran model 7500M10 and 7500M11 are DC-coupled analog variable capacitance accelerometers designed for both commercial and military applications. The series utilize a micro-machined capacitive sensing element housed in a hermetically sealed stainless steel case to deliver reliable performance in harsh conditions.

The Dytran models 7500M10 and 7500M11 feature a 4-pin radial "Mighty Mouse" connector, designed for use in high-reliability aerospace and defense applications requiring robust environmental performance. Units are available with measurement ranges of 50 and 400 g, have a frequency response of 0 to 300 Hz, and are easily mounted via two 4-40 mounting screws (supplied).

Engineered for zero-to-medium frequency applications, the Dytran 7500M series combines an integrated VC accelerometer chip with high drive, low impedance buffering for outstanding responsiveness. Units house a custom integrated circuit amp, low noise electronics, differential output, and an on-board voltage regulator to minimize the effects of supply voltage variation.
