New S Series The Latest Development by YS TECH Engineering
YS Tech USA and Charlie Taylor the National Sales Manager (@CTfanman on Twitter) introduce the new –S series models of the 92 x 92 x 25mm DC axial fans. The new series greatly extends the models' capabilities in both the CFM and pressure categories. Topping out at 8500 RPM, the new –S series 25mm thick model will be the go-to fan when space is limited and the environment is highly restrictive to air flow.
The new S Series is the latest development by YS TECH Engineering. Using state of the art motor simulation and CFD optimization software, the engineers have come up with this new fan series which has very low current draw, high rpm capabilities, high pressure and long life characteristics. These fans are specifically designed for very high pressure situations requiring robust operating points and high reliability. The new motor designs have increased torque capabilities enabling solid performance in the most demanding applications. The 92x25 models use YS Tech’s latest 4-pole motor design which permit the high rpm and low current features.
Because of the higher RPM and pressure requirements, the –S models mechanical design parameters are the most robust of the YS Tech cooling fan offerings. Options for the new series include:Â 2 and 3 wire models with tach and alarm features, 4 wire PWM options, integrated thermistors, IP ratings (IPX4 up to IP67), and custom design features per customer request including connectors and fan tray assemblies.
